You have to verify through SheerID
Sign in to Walmart.com, select Walmart+ Assist, and you'll be sent to SheerID (a third-party verification service) to confirm your program enrollment — usually with a document upload or a database check.

You stay verified for one year, then Walmart re-checks your eligibility to renew — it doesn't auto-renew forever without a recheck.
